Add a little love and sparkle to your accessories with this Heart Bow XOXO Freestanding Lace (FSL) embroidery design. This in-the-hoop project stitches up into a lightweight, lacey pair of statement earrings that are perfect for Valentine’s Day, gift-giving, craft fairs, or everyday wear with a sweet twist.

This design is created using washaway stabilizer to form true freestanding lace. After stitching, simply rinse away the stabilizer to reveal a beautiful lace finish. A simple tutorial is included, but all you really need is a quality washaway stabilizer such as Pellon 541, Sulky Fabri-Solvy, Aqua Mesh, or Vilene mesh-type washaway, along with your favorite embroidery thread.

✨ Sparkle Upgrade:
To add extra shimmer and structure, you may place a piece of clear holographic Mylar film during stitching. Complete, easy-to-follow instructions are included.

This is a beautiful little Free Standing Lace (FSL) Embroidery Ornament Design.  Files include a simple tutorial, but really, all you need is WASHAWAY Stabilizer like Pellon 541, Sully Fabri-Solvy, Aqua Mesh, or Mesh type Vilene washaway stabilizer and your favorite thread.  The stitching method actually created a piece of lace that you will end up with after rinsing away most of the stabilizer. There is a simple tutorial included in your design set. For this design you will need to lay down a piece of Mylar clear holographic film before stitching to add extra sparkle and support to the design. Complete instructions are included for you to follow along. 

This design is made completely in the hoop. You can use this as a jewelry pendant, a bookmark, or even to embellish a gift! 

You will love how my designs minimize pesky jump threads and stitch in a logical order that both conserves thread and enables your machine to stitch cleanly, even if you have to manually trim jump threads.
