Basting Boxes

This is a set of Basting Boxes with registration marks so that you can tack down your hard to manage or stretchy fabrics when floating them in the hoop to get better results in your machine embroidery.  This set includes files for 4x4, 5x7 Vertical, 5x7 Horizontal, 6x10, 7x12, 8x8, and 8x12 rectangular embroidery hoops.  Please note that if you use round or rounded hoops that you will need to verify that the basting boxes do not exceed the allowable embroidery space. Check your manual if you need information on this.  

4x4: 3.78" x 3.78" 82 Stitches

5x7 Vertical: 6.93" x 4.96" 124 Stitches

5x7 Horizontal: 4.96" x 6.93" 125 Stitches

6x10: 6.14" x 10.08" 165 Stitches

7x12:  11.65" x 6.93" 195 Stitches

8x8: 7.72" x 7.72" 158 Stitches

8x12: 11.65" x 7.72"  193 Stitches 

Use this file BEFORE using an embroidery file OR merge it into your selected embroidery design with your embroidery software if you use that.  A basting box can give you better results with your embroidery, so give it a try next time you need to float a tea towel or a t-shirt OR work with a stretchy fabric like Minky or Cuddle®. 

Resizing is not recommended as quality of stitches cannot be guaranteed. Please contact me if you need this design in a different size.

THIS IS A DESIGN FILE FOR YOU TO USE ON YOUR EMBROIDERY MACHINE TO SEW DESIGNS WITH - not a finished physical item. You must have an embroidery capable machine to stitch this design out.

Files are included for DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VP3, and XXX formats. Please contact me if you require a different machine format.
