This design is a Freestanding Lace (FSL) Design for choker style necklace. The width of the band of each choker is 1/2" wide, including the decorative edging. Complete Step By Step tutorial is included.
Traditionally, a choker ranges in length from 14 to 16 inches long and is worn higher on the neck than a chain or beaded necklace. There are two styles of choker necklaces in this file set, a 2 piece and a single piece. The two piece files are either 7 or 8 inches long with both pieces stitching in a single 5x7 or 6x10 hooping. The single piece files are 11, 12, 13, or 14 inches long and designed to stitch in a single 6x10, 7x12, or 8x12 hooping. Any of the files that are set on an angle CAN be edited to rotate vertically in a bigger hoop if necessary. The Single Length 11", 12", 13" and 14" chokers include a loop at the center front that can be used to hang a charm from.
The connectors are all able to be stitched in a 4x4 hoop.
Each choker is made to be non-scratchy with a special edge stitching that looks lacy but is strong and non-abrasive to the skin. You may choose to stitch this choker out in either Rayon, Polyester or Metallic thread to suit your preferences. Mesh Type washaway stabilizer is the recommended stabilizer for these Freestanding Lace pieces.
You can connect the 2 piece choker lace with the double loop Connectors that are included or by using a length of ribbon to tie a bow. You can also use elastic cord to make the choker adjustable for the wearer. Traditional jump ring, lobster clasps or magnetic hardware can be used as well.

2 Piece 8 inch for 6x10: 1.25" x 8.0" 19624 Stitches.
11 inch for 6x10: 5.2"x 9.78" 13354 Stitches. (This file has the 11" length set on an angle in the hoop to stitch.)
12" for 7x12 hoop: 6.26" x 10.23" 14467 Stitches. (This file has the 12" length set on an angle in the hoop to stitch.)
13" for 7x12 hoop: 6.26" x 11.48" 15468 Stitches. (This file has the 13" length set on an angle in the hoop to stitch.)
14" for 8x12 hoop: 7.75" x 11.75" 16591 Stitches. (This file has the 14" length set on an angle in the hoop to stitch.)
There are also FOUR different Connectors in this file set. You may use the connectors between the 2 piece choker bands in the front or back. Each of the connectors comes with and without a bottom loop, so that if you choose to use the connector as an embellishment in the front of the choker, you can hand a charm or bead or other embellishment from the center if desired.
