This is an In the hoop Project for making tiny pouches for Wildlife Rescue. These are to be made for charity use only and are a great way to use up scraps of natural fabrics to assist wildlife rescue groups. This design requires three hoopings to complete the steps needed to make a no-raw edges pouch suitable to the specifications provided by wildlife rescue groups and there are three pieces to make to complete one pouch set.
A complete illustrated photo tutorial is included in this design set. Requires 5x7 hoops, but you may find that you can stretch this design up a bit in your embroidery software. You get the files for the Liner Inner, the Liner Outer and the Cover and instructions how to put them together. File formats include DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, and XXX formats. Please contact me if you need a different format.
You may choose to finish the edges with hand stitching or sewing machine or coverstitch machine, but you need to take care than you do not leave loose threads or raw edges. 100% natural fibers like Cotton, Bamboo and Linen are required, but not wool. Do not use polyester or acrylic fibers.
More Wildlife Rescue Patterns can be found at the Animal Rescue Collective as well as a list of organizations who will accept your finished goods in donation. I urge you to use your scraps and pray for the people of these devastated areas while you create these pouches. ♥All our thoughts and prayers are with the land of Australia during these devastating wildfires. ♥
