Hey there!
Last weekend I got to visit the Appliqué Getaway in Dallas and had a great time learning ALL the things! It was a very worthwhile event to attend. I got to network with other Embroidery Designers, take some classes on things I live doing (so I could get better) and things I’d never done before (like paint signs and apply vinyl!) it’s was a very encouraging weekend and I’ll be going again for sure! 
This week we’ve released several new designs including the Sea Turtle Monogram Frame Snap Tab, which is great for those end of summer beach trips or swim parties!) I have a fun tutorial on you tube where I show you how to use a font you may already have in Embrilliance Essentials to fill the circular area without buying a separate monogram font. in that video I show you how to do the circular monogram on a similar monogram frame tag - the Antique Sewing Machine, that looks very similar to the sewing machines that I learned to sew on first when my grandmothers taught me when I was very young. Now that I think about it, when we stayed over with them I'm sure sewing was just one thing they tried to keep my sister and I entertained, but those lessons certainly paid off! They'd be truly amazed at what our embroidery and sewing machines could accomplish now!
On a final note, I'm very close to finishing up the State Plate series of Snap Tab Designs. I only have to add the finishing touches on New Mexico and North Dakota and then I'll be adding a couple of special designs to that set.
